Probe Industries Takes On Title Sponsorship Of IMCA Northern Stock, Hobby Regions

TORRANCE, Calif. (Feb. 4) Building on a successful first year as a partner with IMCA, Probe Industries picks up the pace to become title sponsor of Northern regions for both the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock divisions.

The Torrance, Calif., engine component manufacturer will award a portion of the $3,750 point fund for Stock Cars and $500 point fund for Hobbies, plus $100 product certificates to top 10 regional finishers in the two classes, through the 2012 race season.

Drivers must display two Probe Industries in designated locations on their race car to be eligible. Those decals will be included in packets mailed from the IMCA home office beginning in March.

Probe gave contingency awards to designated place finishers at 80 special events during its initial season as an IMCA sponsor.

"This title sponsorship program is a great fit for us," Probe Marketing Director Chris Petrini said.  "We are able to reach a wider IMCA audience and introduce a product line with some of the lowest failure rates in the industry. We sell a quality product at a highly competitive price and provide a customer service department that's second to none."

As a company begun by performance enthusiasts, we are determined to provide a staff that races, in the belief that racers understand racers, he continued. Racers running Probe Pistons have noticed they are spending more time on the track than off the track in the rebuild stages."

Probe manufactures an expanding line of forged pistons, full engine kits and shaft rocker systems, rods and crankshafts. Information about those products is available by calling 866 718-6270 and at the www.probeindustries.com website.

States in the Northern regions for one or both divisions include Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.

"The ability to put together a multi-year program with Probe really speaks to their dedication to IMCA racers at this level. Their line of pistons are really targeted to these two divisions and should give members a real incentive to check out what they have to offer, said Kevin Yoder, marketing director for IMCA. We are excited about teaming with Probe for these regions and look forward to a lasting relationship."
