Panhandle Racing Advertising Policies - these policies are still evolving, so please be understanding.

panhandleracing.com, used interchangeably with Panhandle Racing, has business relationships with companies who pay us to place advertisements or product and service offers on our website. The revenue from these relationships helps offset the costs of developing, acquiring, and deploying quality racing news, information, and other content. Our advertising policies are as follows:

Panhandle Racing reserves the right to refuse any advertising without explanation.

Good Faith Setup:
When advertisment space is requested, and the material recieved, Panhandle Racing will place that advertisment in good faith, prior to reciept of the first payment. Terms for initial advertising are NET 30 days, meaning we fully expect at least one months payment to reach us prior to the expiraton of those 30 days (from the date that ad is posted online). Failure to make the payment will result in immediate removal of all materials related to the account. Upon agreeing to these ad policies, an invoice will be sent via email, to you indicating the agreed upon amount, plan, and date which payment is due. Discounts may apply to plans other than month to month.

Identifying Advertisements:
Advertising will be clearly distinguishable from information content, using identifying words, design, or by its placement.

Clicking On Advertisements:
If you click on a third-party advertisement, you will be leaving Panhandle Racing and will be directed to the advertiser's site. Be aware that Panhandle Racing has no control over the content on, practices of, other websites.

Editorial Independence:
Panhandle Racing maintains absolute editorial independence and sponsors have no editorial input or influence on the information itself. Panhandle Racing receives funding from third parties who pay for the right to advertise their companies, products, or services on our site. This funding supports our efforts to develop and deploy comprehensive and credible racing news and information. At times, third parties may pay for the right to sponsor certain areas of information on our site.

Panhandle Racing Does Not Endorse Products:
Panhandle Racing's acceptance of an advertisement shall in no way be considered an endorsement of the product(s) or service(s) advertised or the company(s) involved with any advertised products or services.

Submitting Advertising Material
Unless specifically agreed upon, all advertisements will be submitted to Panhandle Racing ready for inclusion on the web site without any additional graphic, or other, work needing to be done. Banner sizes are 468x60 for wide banners, and 120x60 maximum size for sidebar banners. We recommend advertising material be sent via email as an attachment, which expedites the inclusion on the site. Images must be in one of the following formats: .JPG, .GIF or .PNG.

Non-Compete:
No competitive advertising will reside on the same page with the following exception; sidebar column content - which reaches most main pages, and the Links page. Every effort will be made not to place sidebar banners of competing businesses beside eachother, and maximum separation will be sought.

Types Of Advertisements Not Accepted:
Panhandle Racing does not accept advertising that we know contains false or misleading claims, advertising for gambling, pornography, or any illicit or illegal activities or websites.

Updating This Policy:
This advertising policy may be revised periodically. When we make significant changes that affect our advertising policies and practices, we will post a notice on Panhandle Racing's main page. We recommend that you read our advertising policy whenever you visit our site in case you missed our notice.
